Daniel Moore is a Registered Clinical Psychologist and Member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). Daniel is experienced in treating adults with anxiety disorders, stress, sleep problems, mood disorders, trauma, substance use and personality vulnerabilities.
Daniel has a friendly and warm style and uses a variety of therapeutic techniques, including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT) and eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing (EMDR) to help people improve and better manage their mental health and work towards their goals.
Daniel has worked as a psychologist in both the private and public sectors and provided individual assistance via employee assistance programs. Daniel has experience working in public and private mental health units, addiction services, and with medical patients at the Royal Hobart Hospital.
Daniel is a Psychology Board of Australia approved supervisor for the supervision of trainee psychologists and registered psychologists seeking to complete the clinical registrar program.
Daniel came to Tasmania in 2012 to complete his postgraduate training in psychology. He quickly fell in love with Tasmania and decided to stay. In his spare time, Daniel enjoys bushwalking and participating in Tasmanian running events.
