DPsych (Clin.)
Clinical Psychologist
David works collaboratively with his clients to develop a shared, tailored, and holistic understanding of their problems and goals. He uses strongly evidence-based techniques, such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Schema Therapy, to help clients find achievable, practical strategies to overcometheir issues.
When working with children and adolescents, David usually involves parents and families as much as possible. David also runs a Tuning in to Teens parenting group periodically. For more details about this and for some videos of David describing his practice, visit http://davidbakker.com.au/
