Dr Anca Corbu

Anca was born in Eastern Europe but came to Australia 26 years ago. She trained here as a Psychiatrist and calls Australia home.

Her work has covered different domains, such as acute, chronic, rehabilitation psychiatry, cultural and forensic psychiatry, but her interest is in psychoanalysis and working with people to enhance their coping mechanisms and support them discovering their inner balance. She is specialized in Adult psychiatry and is interested in old age and psychiatric problems in clients with a disability.

She has commenced her private practice in our second site at 199 Campbell Street North Hobart, consulting three days a week. She also has admission rights at St Helens Hospital.
