MPsych (Clin.)
Clinical Psychologist

Kezia is a clinical psychologist who works primarily with adults experiencing chronic and complex mental health difficulties. Her areas of interest include post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD and complex PTSD), obsessive–compulsive disorder (OCD), personality disorders, anxiety and panic disorders, mood disorders (including depression and bipolar affective disorder), and adjustment disorders. She is also passionate about working with migrants and has a strong understanding of the cultural nuances and challenges associated with being an immigrant in Australia.
Kezia adopts a client-centred, collaborative, and eclectic approach to therapy, tailoring her work to each individual’s unique needs and goals. She takes the time to understand what you hope to achieve from therapy and uses this to guide the therapeutic process. She particularly enjoys working within attachment-based and parts-focused frameworks to support clients in developing a deeper understanding of their needs, patterns, and behaviours.
Her therapeutic approach draws on a range of evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)-informed practices, and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), among other approaches.
Kezia completed her Master of Clinical Psychology at the University of Tasmania (UTAS) and her Honours degree at the Australian National University (ANU). Alongside her private practice work, she is employed part-time at the Royal Hobart Hospital Mental Health Inpatient Unit, where she works with inpatients and applies a biopsychosocial model of care. Kezia is also a board-approved supervisor for clinical psychology registrars.
